After completing her BA (Law) and LLB degrees at the University of Pretoria, Magreet served her articles of clerkship in Pretoria. She was admitted as an attorney during August 2016, whereafter she practised in general and commercial litigation. During 2023 Magreet became a partner of a prominent commercial firm in their business rescue and insolvency team.
